Dr Fialho is Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Researcher, with extensive experience working with adults with mental health difficulties.

Currently Dr Fialho works in an NHS specialist service at general hospital, having developed an extensive experiencing with Post covid syndrome, depression, anxiety, emotional difficulties associated with chronic illness, physical persistent symptoms, and Functional Neurological Disorders. Also, actively involved in research, working on Suicide Presentations to Emergency Department, in collaboration with City London University. Dr Fialho has worked as consultant and researcher in different HIV projects in collaboration with Gilead and AbbVie Industry in Lisbon; worked as a trial manager and trial therapist in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Randomized clinical trials, with a wide range of clinical presentations such as psychosis, trauma, depression, and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Dr Fialho published in several academic journals and still actively involved in mental health research, with active role in teaching and supervision experience.

Dr Fialho is passionate about developing her professional skills and has experience of a range of psychological approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Social Recovery Therapy and Solution Focus Therapy.
