Hello! I'm Louisa and I am a Nutritionist registered with the Association for Nutrition.
Having been interested in food since I was young, I wanted to explore all areas of the food industry and have worked as a food technologist and in marketing for a household food brand. However, I always felt that something was missing. In 2018, I returned to study to further my nutrition knowledge and skills and I haven't looked back.
As part of the National Diabetes Prevention Programme, I work with patients on a 1-1 basis to improve their health, reach their personal goals and work together to prevent diabetes through lifestyle changes.
Naturally, my area of interest and specialty is in weight management, working primarily with those looking to lose weight, but also to maintain or gain weight to better their health. I am passionate about providing a service that empowers the individual to build their knowledge and understanding about their health and support them to create patient-led goals.
I work with people to ensure the changes they are making are sustainable, not through fad or short-term 'diets' but through gradual changes that will fit into their lifestyle. The cornerstone of my practice is a non-judgemental approach, helping you to build a healthy relationship with food, whilst working towards your personal goals.
