As a relational Gestalt therapist I sit alongside you, supporting you to explore your experience, bring fresh awareness to it, and change stuck patterns of thinking and behaviour. Gestalt means a ‘whole’ and in my therapeutic work this translates to working with you as a whole person, including your thoughts, feelings, and somatic (body) experience, all in relevant present, past or future contexts.
I have worked in the NHS, charity and private sector, helping clients from varied socio-cultural backgrounds with a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, disordered eating, existential issues, shame and guilt, relationship issues, developmental/historical trauma, emotional and sexual abuse, PTSD, and identity concerns.
