About Kate

With over 25 years of experience in mental health nursing, Kate brings a wealth of specialist knowledge in neurodevelopmental conditions, including ADHD and autism. She is an experienced Independent Nurse Prescriber and has spent many years working in dedicated ADHD services, supporting adults with a broad range of presentations, including more complex and co-occurring needs.

Kate has extensive experience in ADHD prescribing and titration, as well as supporting individuals with co-occurring Autism and ADHD. She understands that each person’s response to medication can vary, particularly where multiple conditions are present, and takes a careful, individualised approach to treatment. She places strong emphasis on understanding how symptoms affect day-to-day life, using this to guide safe and responsive titration. Alongside medication management, she supports patients in developing practical strategies to better manage symptoms and improve overall functioning.

She has held senior clinical leadership roles, including ADHD Titration Service Clinical Lead and Allied Health Professional Clinical Director within a large national provider. In these roles, she has led multidisciplinary teams, contributed to the development of large-scale ADHD services and supported ongoing improvements in clinical pathways. Kate has also been involved in teaching and mentoring healthcare professionals and students, sharing her expertise in ADHD and wider mental health care. She is a registered member of the NMC.

Bringing her extensive experience to our service, Kate focuses on providing ADHD titration and stabilisation support for adults undergoing treatment. Her role centres on delivering safe, personalised, and well-coordinated prescribing, while offering clear and practical guidance to help individuals better understand and manage their neurodivergence.

Please note: Kate’s medical review appointments are only for adult patients who have received an ADHD diagnosis from one of our psychiatrists.
