Dr Imran Munir

Dr Munir is a consultant psychiatrist at Augmentive offering ADHD diagnostic assessments and treatment to people seeking support.

A proud Geordie, born and raised in Newcastle, he studied Medicine at the University of Sheffield before returning to the North East for his higher training. During his junior training he was involved in running ADHD clinics across the North East of England. As a consultant within the NHS, he has extensive experience taking the clinical lead with patients who have Adult ADHD, and has seen first hand the difference that diagnosis and treatment can make to individual lives, including within his own close family. As understanding of the condition continues to grow, he considers it a privilege to be in a position to diagnose and treat people with ADHD and to make a genuine difference to their everyday lives.
