About Dr Daniel

Dr Daniel Masud brings over a decade of experience supporting adults facing a broad spectrum of mental wellbeing and mental health challenges. Dr. Masud is motivated by a conviction that effective treatment begins with genuine understanding — of the individual, their story, and the context in which their difficulties arise.

Central to his approach is relationship. Dr. Masud believes that a therapeutic alliance, grounded in trust and empathy, is the cornerstone of lasting change. His work reflects a balance of scientific precision and humane insight, integrating psychiatric expertise with a deep respect for the lived experience of each client. Whether addressing complex diagnostic questions or facilitating recovery from long-standing emotional and behavioural difficulties, he remains attuned to the whole person, not just the condition.

Dr. Masud trained in Nottingham and has since held senior clinical and leadership positions across both the NHS and private sector, specialising in General Adult and Addiction Psychiatry. His breadth of experience spans outpatient, inpatient, and specialist service settings, giving him a nuanced understanding of how to coordinate care across different levels of need. He holds an endorsement in Addiction Psychiatry and has developed particular expertise in treatment-resistant depression, Addictions, and Adult ADHD.

Alongside his clinical practice, he has a strong interest in the role of artificial intelligence in advancing mental healthcare and is passionate about driving thoughtful, ethical innovation to improve access, personalisation, and to help lead positive, responsible change at the intersection of technology and mental health.

In addition to his work with Augmentive he has practising privileges at Schoen Clinic Chelsea (Clinical Director of Addictions), Harbor London, Orchestrate Health, Provide Wellbeing, and serves as a Health Assessor for the General Medical Council (GMC), promoting safe and effective practice among healthcare professionals across the UK. Dr. Masud co-founded Miracourt Clinical Case Management to extend the reach of clinically rigorous and person-centred mental healthcare in the UK and Internationally.

His clinical philosophy and central ethos is that sustainable psychological change arises from collaboration, depth of understanding, and the courage to meet human complexity with curiosity and care. His practice embodies a psychiatry that is both rigorous and relational — helping clients move towards recovery with clarity, compassion, and hope.

Approved Clinician under Section 12(2) of the Mental Health Act 1983 (as amended by the Mental Health Act 2007) | On the GMC Specialist Register | General Medical Council (GMC no. 7454427).
