I am a trainee CBT/REBT therapist, in year 2 of studying with the College of Cognitive Behavioural Therapies.
I really like how CBT/REBT is very solutions-focused, so a client can feel supported to make real, tangible change in their own life.
It can be daunting coming to counselling or therapy for the first time, as can the idea of making change in your own life, but I will provide a safe space to explore what are the emotions underlying whatever issues you may be facing. If you are feeling anxious, even taking these first steps could be anxiety-inducing but together we can work out some really practical strategies that will hopefully make a big difference in your life.
As a trainee, I know it will be a two-way process of learning from each other. Though I am still training, I have a lot of life experience and have
coached, mentored and supported people my whole life. I really look forward to meeting you and hearing about how we can work together.
