I offer individual support to adults and couples in a safe and nurturing space where you can access short-term counseling or long-term psychotherapy. My goal is to help you feel empowered and equipped to handle life's ups and downs.
If you need help with a specific problem, like something at work or in a relationship, then counseling may be the right fit for you. It's a shorter-term process that focuses on finding solutions to immediate challenges.
But if you're looking to delve deeper and gain a better understanding of yourself, your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, then psychotherapeutic work may be more appropriate. This is a longer-term process that involves exploring your childhood experiences and how they're affecting your present.
I specialise in helping clients heal from childhood trauma, deal with loss and grief, navigate change, manage anxiety and depression, and tackle relationship issues. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Transactional Analysis (TA), which is a powerful method based on psychology traditions and child development stages. I also integrate elements of other modalities to help you get the most from our time together.
During our sessions, I take an active role in guiding and supporting you. I'll ask questions, share theories, reflect, and challenge you when necessary. But I also believe that you play an essential part in your own growth and development. That's why I encourage you to be actively involved in your change process.
I am also a member of UKATA, EATA, the ITAA and Registered Member of the BACP.
