About Anna

Hello, I’m Anna (she/her) a qualified therapist experienced in online and telephone therapy.

Life can be challenging, the last couple of years in particular have affected us in ways we could never have imagined. Have you felt overwhelmed and at times unable to cope? That's okay, therapy can help. Through difficult times, opportunities for change and growth can emerge.

Therapy can help minimise the negative impact difficult events and circumstances can have on your mental health, it can provide you with the tools to manage your feelings in a way that cultivates positive change and an improved sense of emotional wellbeing. Given the right environment and therapeutic support, I believe we all have the capacity to overcome life’s challenges.

I can offer you a safe, confidential and compassionate space where you can explore your difficulties without judgement or criticism. Working together we can find the right solutions to the issues you are facing in order to help you move forward with hope.

At the core of my therapeutic approach is the value I place on our relationship; first as human beings, second as client and therapist. Positive outcomes in therapy are often attributed to the quality of the therapeutic relationship, as such my aim is to build a genuine relationship with you in the hope that our connection facilitates positive change and improved mental wellbeing. We will explore the issues that have brought you to therapy with honesty, curiosity and compassion, processing the more difficult and painful events you've experienced, but with a focus of finding hope and a way to move forward.

​In my experience clients are the experts of their own lives, this is why I won't tell you what to do or give you advice, what I will do is support you in finding the answers and solutions to your issues, empowering you to feel more confident and in control of your life.

I work as a Humanistic Integrative Therapist, which simply means I blend a range of theories and skills from different theoretical approaches (predominantly Person Centred, Transactional Analysis, Gestalt and CBT) in order to provide you with therapeutic support unique to your needs and goals.

I work online providing therapy by video or telephone and have appropriate training to do this in a safe and confidential manner.

I have helped my clients to overcome a range of mental health challenges including but not limited to anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, stress, relationship issues and childhood trauma.

I am a fully qualified Integrative Therapist, with a Diploma and Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance. I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists) and adhere to their guidance and ethical framework at all times.
