My name is Suzie Bright (she/her), and I live in Eastbourne, East Sussex with my husband and our cats. I consider myself a quiet, gentle, and empathetic individual.
I am a professional Counsellor and a Breathwork Coach. I've been working in my own private practice (Brighter Days Counselling) since 2022.
My Approach: I see therapy as a collaborative journey. My role is to walk alongside you with curiosity, care, and respect, supporting you to reconnect with your inner resources and move towards greater freedom, balance, and choice in your life.
I approach counselling with cultural sensitivity, utilising a blend of humanistic therapeutic practices, including Transactional Analysis and Person-Centered Therapy. This way of working places the therapeutic relationship, self-awareness, and personal agency at the centre of the healing process.
I believe therapy is not about pushing for quick solutions, but about creating the right conditions for growth to unfold at a pace that feels manageable to each person I work with.
Because trauma is held in the body as well as the mind, I often work in ways that go beyond talking alone. This may include breathwork, creative approaches, and working outdoors in green spaces, all of which can support grounding, regulation, and safe processing.
My Offer: I work online with individuals, aged 18 and older, from anywhere in the UK. Coming for counselling can feel challenging. So in order to help you feel safer during the process, you can choose either video or telephone calls.

Relationships Do you struggle in your relationship with a family member/s, friends, acquaintances or work colleagues? Or is it your relationship with yourself that you struggle with?
Self-Discovery and Authentic Living Are you looking to enhance your self-awareness? Do you need a safe space to explore who you are and consider changes you'd like to make for a more authentic life?
Depression and Anxiety Are you living with a persistent emotional flatness, disconnection and stuckness? Do you have a mix of sadness, anger, fear or dread which prevent you from enjoying life?
Grief and Loss Are you grieving a loved one/s, a relationship, your pet, health, job, home? You may have lost something else more difficult to explain. For example your sense of belonging, identity, purpose, energy, self-esteem or confidence.
Sometimes even when we are surrounded by people we can feel very alone and we can feel completely stuck. In your counselling sessions you can talk about whatever is going on, and I will work with you so that you feel safe, seen, heard and connected and eventually able to break through the dark clouds.
First step:

Second Step:
If you would like to start your counselling journey with me, you can book your 50-minute Initial Session at a discounted fee of £25. The initial session is for us to start to get to know each other. You can talk about the issues you want to bring, and we can start to create your therapeutic plan.
Third Step:
After attending your Initial Session, you can then book your first full Online Daytime Counselling Session for £50, or an Online Evening Counselling Session for £55 depending on your agreed therapeutic plan. You can then continue to book your sessions in this way for as long as you wish.
