Dr Suriti Govindji is a Consultant Psychiatrist who is registered with the GMC and the Royal College of Psychiatrists. She recently joined Augmentive having worked clinically for 13 years, most recently at Camden and Islington NHS Mental Health Trust. Dr Govindji specialises in assessing and treating a variety of mental health issues, which include: Depression, anxiety, stress related issues, bipolar affective disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, psychosis, trauma and personality disorders.

Dr Govindji will carry out a detailed 60 minute assessment with a view to understanding your difficulties and thinking together about the best treatment options for you. Her comprehensive approach will take into consideration the use of medication, talking therapies, lifestyle factors and other additional supportive activities. 

Dr Govindji trained to be a doctor at King’s College London and went on to do her psychiatric training across London. Her approach is empathic and thorough. She is keen to support those who struggle with their mental and emotional health, understanding that mental wellbeing is the basis for a happy, purposeful and productive life.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON BOOKINGS:

Dr Govindji is an adult psychiatrist, and sees patients between the ages of 18 and 65 only. Patients over the age of 65 are therefore advised to seek assistance from a psychiatrist who specialises in older patient assessments.

Dr Govindji does not offer assessments with translation. 

Before scheduling a booking request, please allow adequate time to complete a Registration form and to collate any further medical information, which is required 48 hours prior to your assessment date. Dr Govindji may request further information in order to do adequate diagnostic preparation before the appointment. Late notice bookings may be rescheduled to allow time for the above form and relevant information to be reviewed prior to accepting a booking request.

Dr Govindji's mailbox and messages are monitored by her medical secretary, Monday to Friday between the hours of 9:00-1:00pm only. Any replies will be sent within 24 hours of receipt (except weekends/Bank Holidays).
