I am a fully accredited Counselling Psychologist. I hold professional registration with both the Health Professions Counsel of South Africa as well as the Health and Care Professions Council of the United Kingdom. I have 22 years of psychotherapeutic experience across a variety of different working environments.

I consider myself most closely aligned with the Mindfulness Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy model. I also draw from my knowledge of Buddhist Psychology as well as ACT, MBCBT, Narrative Therapy and Transactional Analysis.

My therapeutic style is enthusiastic, non-judgmental, empathic but also direct and goal directed. Setting therapeutic goals and 'therapy homework' are also important facets of my treatment approach. I believe that growth and healing is a collaborative effort between therapist and client.
