I offer psychotherapy and counselling to adults and young people (18+). If you are feeling stuck or are struggling, or maybe just want to understand yourself better I may be able to help. Sometimes a few sessions are enough. For deeper-seated issues longer-term work is often best.
I am an integrative therapist combining theories from different traditions and disciplines. This means I’llI work holistically and tailor my approach to suit your needs. My aim is to help you make sense of things and find ways to feel better. I believe mental health and wellbeing are shaped by the dynamic interplay between past and present, the contexts in which we live and the relationships we have with self and others. Good mental health is about resilience and our capacity to cope with whatever life throws at us. I’ve almost 20 years’ experience gained with various NHS services, employee assistance programmes, in university and school settings and private practice.
