Hello, I'm Phil; a qualified and registered integrative counsellor based in Jersey. I offer face to face sessions within my locality or online sessions for the rest of the UK. I have undertaken additional training to work online, to offer you the same quality service you'd expect from an in-person setting.

My calm and gentle approach offers a warm, safe and nurturing therapeutic space to explore whatever it is you may be experiencing in your life.

I work primarily from a Person-Centred approach whereby I accompany you as you explore whatever it is that you are bringing. This approach helps you to really investigate and unpack both the factual content but more importantly the emotional content, leaving you empowered as you find your way forward and make your own decisions. You are the expert on you!

Through bringing mindful awareness to thoughts, feelings and emotions in the present moment we can illuminate our habitual patterns and reactions to life's triggers, opening up choices in the way we respond. All of this is done with utmost care and respect, honouring your process and your pace.

I have an interest in trauma and am just finishing a qualification in Complex Trauma. I am also studying towards a degree in Psychology and Counselling.

I have experience of working with people from all walks of life and before I qualified, I volunteered with the local chaplaincy team as a hospital visitor. I have also trained as a Soul Midwife, working with the dying to help them plan for and manage this important and special time.
