I offer a calm and non-judgemental space for you to explore what’s impacting you. My approach is compassionate, non-directive and collaborative, allowing you to explore things at your pace. Part of my role is to help you look at how you feel, what might be imbalanced in your life and to work with what you want to share, change, or achieve.
I am warm, welcoming, and authentic, creating room for you to bring your whole self into our relationship, knowing it is caring, compassionate, safe, and confidential. I have experience of working with a range of issues including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties and abuse.
We all have time times in life when we need help and to share what is hard, with someone by our side to listen and help us make sense of things.
How counselling can help
Counselling helps us to look at what we’re experiencing and brings an awareness to how we respond to life’s challenges. This can give you an insight into the choices you have, to help you to grow and feel more confident to make those choices, improving your life and how you feel.
Whatever you need to bring, we can work together to help you to gain an understanding of your experiences, find acceptance or a way forward which feels right for you. I tailor my approach to your needs, following your lead and offering you the space to talk and explore your feelings.
What to expect in your first session
In our first session, I'll ask you about what you'd like to achieve from counselling, giving you space to ask me questions or to chat through any concerns you might have. We'll also go through some practical information such as our contract and confidentiality guidelines.
