Dr Michael Shortt

Dr Michael Shortt is a Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist with experience across a range of NHS and private settings. At Augmentive, he provides ADHD assessments and ongoing treatment for adults, with a clear, practical approach to care.He also works at Hertfordshire Partnerships University NHS Foundation Trust.

After qualifying in medicine from Imperial College London in 1997, Dr Shortt became a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2007. He completed his psychiatry training at the Maudsley Hospital, Institute of Psychiatry, and Springfield University Hospital, followed by an Academic Clinical Fellowship in Forensic Psychiatry at St George’s University.

Dr Shortt remains in good standing with the Royal College of Psychiatrists and the General Medical Council, with regular appraisal and ongoing professional development.
