Dr Michael Shortt is a Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist working privately at Augmentive alongside his work at the Hertfordshire Partnerships University NHS Foundation Trust. After earning his MBBS from Imperial College London in 1997, he became a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2007.

He trained at the Maudsley Hospital, Institute of Psychiatry, and Springfield University, completing higher psychiatry training and an Academic Clinical Fellowship in Forensic Psychiatry at St George’s University (2008-2012).

At Augmentive, he offers ADHD diagnostic assessments as well as supporting patients with ongoing treatment.

He remains in good standing with the Royal College of Psychiatrists and the GMC, maintaining up-to-date professional development and appraisal.
