Mercedes is an Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and a Relationship Therapist with a successful private practice in the Lisbon region, Portugal.

She also has an online practice where she works internationally with clients from across the UK and Europe, offering counselling services in English and Spanish.

Mercedes works with individuals and couples who are experiencing relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, bereavement, trauma, anxiety and depression.

Alongside her private practice, Mercedes works with Faversham Counselling Services, a BACP accredited organisation and contractor of the UK’s National Health Service (NHS), where she provides counselling to individuals struggling with a range of personal, emotional or relationship issues.

Having previously lived and worked in corporate settings in London, Paris, Tokyo, Madrid and Dublin, Mercedes has a strong understanding of cross-cultural issues, enabling her to provide psychological support to people of various nationalities living in diverse circumstances, including those experiencing cultural adaptation difficulties. Her corporate experience means she is also able to offer counselling in burnout and workplace conflict situations.
