I am a fully qualified Integrative counsellor. I will draw on theory and practices of a range of counselling models, according to what best suits you as I believe in the uniqueness of each person.
I will listen to you with empathy and in a non-judgemental way. I will support you as you become aware of how events and concerns impact your emotions, thoughts, choices and behaviour. Together we can explore to make sense of your experiences and to discover new ways to deal with similar or new experiences. You can develop and gain more self-understanding; and acquire a sense of security, significance and self-worth to help you in the future.
I can help with a wide range of issues including, abuse, anxiety, stress, depression, eating difficulties, loneliness, relationship problems, bereavement, self-esteem, sexual orientation, sexual abuse, discrimination, pet bereavement and many more. My services are for all adults (18+), regardless of faith, beliefs or background.
Rates are starting from £20 (intro) to £40 (full session). The concession rate for students is £30.
I am a Counsellor with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I work within the BACP ‘Ethical Framework for Counsellors’, and the BACP Guidelines for Online Counselling and Psychotherapy. Information relating to both documents can be found at: www.bacp.co.uk.
