Childhood trauma can be experienced in many different ways, from your parents being critical and failing to meet your emotional needs to more abusive and destructive behaviours. These childhood experiences leave an imprint that we carry with us for the rest of our lives.
Many of the clients I work with have gone on to create massive success in their lives despite their challenging childhoods. However, for many of them the ghosts of the past still come back to haunt them when they are feeling vulnerable.
EMDR therapy is an amazing therapy to help you unpack and release any emotional distress that's you're still carrying from when you were younger.
