Dr Lida Panagiotopoulou

Dr Lida Panagiotopoulou is a highly-qualified Consultant Psychiatrist, specialising in adult ADHD, depression, anxiety and other mental health conditions. Her particular area of expertise is adult ADHD. She has worked as a psychiatrist in the UK for the last 13 years, both in the NHS and privately.

Dr Panagiotopoulou believes in working collaboratively with her patients at each step of their journey. Drawing on a bio-psycho-social approach, she takes a holistic view of each person’s life to understand how different factors may be influencing their mental health. She invests time in getting to know each patient's unique circumstances, allowing her to create personalised formulations and thoughtful, tailored management plans.

Dr Panagiotopoulou qualified as a medical doctor at the medical school of Athens (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece), in 2006. She started her post-graduate psychiatric training in London in 2012. She was awarded full membership of the RCPsych in 2015 and she was awarded a CCT in general adult psychiatry with endorsement in liaison psychiatry in 2019. She has worked in the East London NHS Foundation Trust as a full time Consultant psychiatrist for 6 years.
