I'm Kat and I'm a person centred Counsellor, working with loss and bereavement and self esteem issues. Thank you for looking at my profile.

Losing someone is never easy and sometimes you might need some extra support to come to terms with what has happened and what you are experiencing. You might be struggling with losing your pet and adjusting to life without them. I offer Bereavement Therapy as well as Pet Bereavement Therapy. I will help you to talk through your feelings at your own pace and in a safe space and together we will explore what your loss means to you and how you can move forwards.

If you are struggling with your self esteem, you might feel that you've lost your confidence and have a low sense of self worth. You might have a tendency to people please or you might have experienced emotional neglect in your childhood. You might find it difficult to make decisions or to communicate your needs. I can help you to work through your feelings, to gain a better understanding of what is going on for you and to build your confidence so that you can live the life you envision for yourself.

I offer face to face, telephone and video sessions.

I also offer a free, 20 minutes introductory phone call in which I will answer any questions about therapy that you might have and we can decide if I'm the right therapist for you.

I am registered and accredited with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I have previously worked with clients in the charity sector and within NHS settings.

Considering starting therapy can feel very daunting and you might feel nervous or apprehensive. I want to reassure you that a warm welcome awaits you.
