Dr Rodrigues obtained his Bachelor of Medical Science and Bachelor of Surgery Degrees at Guy's, Kings, St Thomas' Medical School. He subsequently completed his specialist training in psychiatry at the prestigious Bethlem & Maudsley Hospital training scheme which included working in national specialist services and centers of excellence.

Dr Rodrigues was previously Medical Director and National Clinical Director at Priory Healthcare. He has also worked as a Consultant Psychiatrist in community and inpatient rehabilitation, Early Intervention, Liaison Psychiatry, Assertive Outreach and acute inpatient and Home Treatment services within the NHS, independent sector and outside of the UK covering general adult, forensic and learning disability services.

Dr Rodrigues currently works part-time as a Consultant Liaison Psychiatrist at South London & Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust and also conducts autism clinical assessments as a Consultant Psychiatrist and Associate with Skylight Psychiatry.

Dr Rodrigues has a special interest in treatment resistant psychiatric disorders,neurodevelopmental disorders, neuroimaging and psychopharmacology. He has published research in these areas and presented his work internationally.

Dr Rodrigues also has a keen interest in carer support and engagement. He was a Trustee to a charity supporting carers for over 5 years.

At Augmentive, Dr Rodrigues offers general psychiatric assessments for adults, providing assessment, diagnoses and treatment for a range of mental health conditions including anxiety, depression, OCD, bipolar disorder, psychoses, autism spectrum and personality disorders.
