About Jasmine

Hi and welcome to my profile.  I am a counsellor and supervisor.

I recently found out that of all the seeds on any tree the hope is that just one of them will grow to be a new tree. If we translate that to our lives, it means that many of our ideas wont plant and grow and, like autumn, now is a good time to let go of things that aren't helping you. This could be a good time to re-evaluate and bring your life closer to what you believe it can be.

I am a proactive counsellor who works compassionately, creatively and intuitively to explore the many aspects of your life and where you would like to bring about change. Counselling creates new connections in the brain, greater emotional resilience and is a very reparative experience.

I see you as the expert in yourself and will work with you to find a way forward which is meaningful for you. My mode of counselling is a combination of person-centred and solution-focused counselling offering an engaging, rich learning experience.  I celebrate diversity and am an ally for anyone who feels they are marginalised by the dominant group.

Supervision is 1:12 for COSCA members or 90 minutes for BACP members.

I show the attitudes of warmth, trust and a nonjudgmental style in the counselling relationship and our sessions will be in The Counselling Oyster, a peaceful, wooden studio at the bottom of the garden, or online.
