I am an Integrative Psychotherapist, meaning I adapt my practice to reflect your needs. We all need time to reflect on and heal from life's experiences and, in doing so, create space to reach our full potential. As your therapist, you will find me warm, encouraging, and engaging.
I've worked through the NHS & independently with: childhood trauma, self esteem, identity, cultural & LGBTQ+ issues. I also work with general depression & anxiety. I am highly experienced in working with PTSD from sexual & psychological abuse.
I work with all issues through the lens of relationships (including the relationship with self) for it is through them that we form our identity and sense of self. I also see that our formative experiences and relationships inform who we are. When these experiences and relationships feel unhealthy or unhelpful, they can cause conflict between the way we feel about and see ourselves and the way we want to feel and be seen. Through our work, we will explore and make sense of these experiences to identify negative thought patterns, narratives, and internalised beliefs about self. We will then understand where you want to see change and together make that change a reality.
