About Hamid

I integrate evidence-based principles from various therapeutic modalities, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Metacognitive Therapy (MCT), and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) into my practice. As an integrative counsellor, I am an accredited Professional by the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) and recognized by Addiction Professionals. My therapeutic approach is rooted in compassion, respect, and a commitment to delivering the highest standard of care.

I strongly believe in the power of Systematic Family Therapy to address issues affecting families and couples.

Tailoring treatment is a crucial component of my practice, allowing me to assist in resolving symptoms related to a wide range of mental health conditions. These include Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD), Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), trauma, depression, anxiety disorders, various personality disorders, and Substance Use Disorder (SUD). By customizing therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of each individual, I strive to provide the most effective and compassionate care possible, fostering positive outcomes and improved mental well-being for my clients.

My vision is to help individuals harness their strengths and achieve improved mental health and well-being. I employ Solution-Focused Therapy, a short-term, goal-focused approach that empowers you to make positive changes in your life. Together, we will identify your unique needs and develop a personalized treatment plan that aligns with your goals.

I am a dedicated and experienced ADHD assessor and specialist, with a strong foundation in the field of adult ADHD assessment and intervention. My professional journey has been shaped by comprehensive training and qualifications from esteemed institutions, including the UK Adult ADHD Network (UKAAN) and King's College London. I hold a Certificate in "Diagnosis and Assessment of Adults with ADHD," and I have completed the course "Understanding ADHD: Current Research and Practice" at King's College London.

In my current role, I have the privilege of collaborating with a Consultant Psychiatrist to offer comprehensive ADHD assessment and reporting services tailored for adults. We understand the unique challenges that individuals with ADHD face, and our mission is to provide accurate assessment and support to empower our clients to lead fulfilling lives.

Whether you are seeking ADHD assessment and support or individual and family counselling, I am here to provide the guidance and care you need to thrive.

I have completed my PGDip at London South Bank University and obtained my BA degree in clinical psychology in 2005, followed by a Master's in Philosophy.
