Dr Sankar is an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist specialising in adult mental health. He has worked across a range of NHS services, including Perinatal Community Mental Health, General Adult Community Teams and Adult ADHD services. During his NHS tenure, he led as a Community Perinatal Consultant Psychiatrist and supported patients via tele-psychiatry during the COVID-19 pandemic.

His approach is calm, person-centred and practical. He uses evidence-based medication where appropriate, and integrates talking therapies, occupational therapy and social interventions to help people rebuild day-to-day wellbeing and resilience.
