About Dr Inder
Dr Sawhney is a highly experienced Consultant Psychiatrist with over 20 years of clinical experience. Alongside her work at Augmentive, Dr Sawnhey has worked as a Consultant in Psychiatry of Intellectual Disability in North Essex since 2007. She has held senior leadership roles including Medical Lead and Clinical Director. Holding a Master’s in Mental Health Law (LLM), she has dedicated her career to improving the lives and rights of people with intellectual disabilities through compassionate, person-centred care.
She has published widely, presented at national and international conferences, and led multiple award-winning projects recognised for innovation and reducing healthcare inequalities. Her work has earned her national honours, including the National Clinical Impact Award (Silver, 2023) and Professional of the Year (2024).
At Augmentive, Dr Sawhney offers comprehensive ADHD assessments for adults, combining her deep clinical expertise with a warm, collaborative approach that supports individuals and their families.
