Hi my name is Clare and I am an integrative counsellor with a strong focus on person centred counselling. I gained my qualification to practice from UEL and have worked with adults in a variety of settings. I look forward to meeting new clients and exploring their life with them. I volunteered with a crisis support charity for many years and come to counselling with and open and non-judgemental mind. Personally I have found counselling to bring clarity to my life and a perspective I would not have been able to achieve on my own.

I work with all topics that clients bring. Examples of this could be life transitions, relationship issues, self esteem, depression, anxiety and feeling numb. If you have a shelf of self help books and think what next?

As an integrative counsellor with a background in person-centred work I can meet you where you are in life now and get to know what you might want in the future. Using person-centred counselling as a base, means that we can spend some time building trust and getting to know what is going on for you, before moving on to the future.

If the thought of working out what you want or where you might be in the future is too much, there is no rush, we can take time to get to know you as you are now and explore what you bring to therapy. My approach very much draws on the ethos of person-centred theory which puts you as the expert in your own life and I can help you feel like that expert.
