Anthony integrates many different approaches depending on each individual’s specific requirements. Central to his clinical practice is the importance of the therapeutic relationship, thereby creating a safe and confidential space from which a client can explore the challenges experienced in life.
As a psychotherapist, he is experienced in working with individuals and couples. He works with many different issues including relationship issues, trauma, depression, anxiety, bereavement, sexual abuse and has a particular interest in working with individuals who have experienced any form of emotional trauma. As a psychosexual and relationship therapist, Anthony also works with a broad range of sexual issues.
Anthony is a registrant of both the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and Irish Council for Psychotherapy (ICP). He is an accredited member of both the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP). Anthony is also an Accredited EMDR Europe Practitioner and EMDR Consultant in Training as well as being an intensively trained Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) therapist.
Anthony is an Associate Lecturer with The Open University and teaches on Psychology and Counselling modules. An eternal student, He has also trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and is enrolled on a doctoral level counselling psychology qualification with the British Psychological Society.
